Healing Crisis – Get Better or Worsen?

Detoxification is meant to rejuvenate the mind and body and positively impact well being and clarity. However, sometimes the initial reaction to a detoxification program can be anything but pleasant. The process of healing sometimes includes a healing crisis, also known as the detox reaction, the cleansing reaction, and the Jarisch-Herxheimer reaction. During a healing crisis, you can feel even worse than before you started your detox program. The good news is that this reaction is likely a sign that you’re getting better by way of a deep and thorough cleansing.

What is a Healing Crisis?

Environmental toxins accumulate in tissue throughout the body, especially fat tissue. Additionally, the human body has bacterial colonies. When you cleanse your body, the toxins dislodge and the bacteria die off and release endotoxins. When the toxins and waste are dislodged, the body begins to flush them into the bloodstream to be filtered and eliminated. This sudden circulation of toxins can temporarily impact your well being and symptoms of illness (sweating, fever, discomfort, etc.) may occur.

What are the Indications of a Healing Crisis?

The indications that you’re experiencing a healing crisis can include headache, nausea, and fever — symptoms typically experienced during illness. During the crisis, a recurrence of symptoms from long-forgotten illnesses may also occur. Symptoms of a healing crisis vary from one person to another and may include:

  • Fatigue
  • Diarrhea
  • Aches and soreness
  • Low-grade fever
  • Anxiety
  • Mood swings
  • Nausea
  • Skin irritations
  • Stuffy nose
  • Congestion
  • Low blood pressure

How Long Does a Healing Crisis Last?

A healing crisis generally lasts around three days, depending on the individual and the severity of their situation. The more severe the toxicity, the more intense the healing crisis can be. As your body begins to expel toxins, your energy may decrease and you may begin to feel ill. If it happens, take it as a sign that your body is working to flush out toxins and waste.

What Else Can Cause a Healing Crisis?

Sometimes you don’t even need to begin a cleansing protocol to experience a healing crisis. Women who’ve participated in reflexology have reported experiencing the effects. [1] Massage, sauna bathing, and other therapies may also dislodge toxins and encourage a healing crisis (and healing!).

Conventional medicine has indicated that treatment protocols for many diseases can include a healing crisis. For example, syphilis treatments often initiate a Jarisch-Herxheimer response (healing crisis), with headache, fever, chills, worsening of lesions, and malaise. [2] [3] Case studies suggest antibiotics for leptospirosis, a potentially fatal bacterial infection, may prompt a healing crisis, too. [4]

How to Handle a Healing Crisis

For a cleanse- or detox-induced healing crisis, it’s important to stay hydrated with purified water to encourage your body to flush and expel the toxins. Depending on the detox program, lemon juice and herbal teas may also help flush out toxins and provide nutrients and antioxidants. Massage, acupuncture, EFT (emotional freedom technique), and meditation may be helpful for relieving the indications of a healing crisis, especially anxiety and stress.

Diari Detoks Parasit

Hari pertama soft detox parasit..

Pagi:

Lepas subuh amalan biasa, minum air kosong dangan 10 biji alfalfa.

Suami belikan nasi lemak, tapi belum berani nak makan sebab ada santan.. ingatkan tak boleh..(dah konfem, boleh sebenarnya).

Lepas 1 jam.. baru makan nasi, ikan goreng dan telur cincang, sama cili potong tanpa kicap. Minum air kosong suam-suam panas.. fuh segar rasa badan.

Badan still relax.. ok aje.. ye lah cacing dan parasit lain belum terasa puasa mereka.

Tghari.. selalu time ni jarang makan awal.. tapi air milo dan roti selalu jadi pujaan time tengahari ni..

Jam 4 baru korek periuk nasi, makan dengan ikan goreng sup kosong sama sayur pegaga. Banyak jugak pegaga.. 10 batang. Nasik campur sikit lada hitam halus.. (rasa macam time pantang pulak)

 

Malam.. biasanya tak makan sangat.. sebab tghari dah makan lewat. Malam tak rasa macam lapar. Shake milkshake dengan susu fernleaf. Selalu mesti biskut HupSeng dengan milo panas 2 gelas.. huhuh.

Tgh malam pukul 3 pagi, bangun buat susu anak..perut berkeruk-keruk. Selalu tak macam ni.. Cepat-cepat minum air kosong (tahu dah cacing dah mula rasa lapar).

Pukul 3.45 pagi mata tak boleh tidur sebab perut berkeruk. So letak balm coughcold kat hidung dan pelipis.. wangi.. calit sikit kat pelipis baby dan abang cik… so selesa, mama boleh tidur..

 

Day 2 soft detoks parasit

Bangun pagi ni tak rasa segar macam biasa. Ingatkan sebab semalam kurang tidur. Tapi kat breast rasa gatal. Ku garu dengan baju.

 

Terus bangun solat subuh, dan kemudian ke dapur. Minum air kosong dan 10 biji alfalfa. Bingkas buat sarapan mudah sementara abg cik dan baby iman masih tidur.

Pukul 9.30 baru makan nasik + ikan goreng + karot celur seinci + pegaga 3 helai.

 

Lunch:

Nasi putih panas-panas tabur lada putih sikit (huii sodappp), sup bawang putih (bawang putih 2 ulas, lada hitam dan cili kecik) + telur dadar.

Kesan semasa:

Breast sudah gatal teruk.. kenapa agaknya kat breast yg dirasa dulu aku pun tak pasti? Apakah selama ni breast banyak cacing? Haaa…macamana menyusu anak selama 8 bulan lebih ini? Ayooo…

Petang:

Rasa lapar.. minum milkshake + susu fernleaf.

Malam:

Tak lapar.. tapi sangat dahaga.

Minum 1 tumbler rooibos tea panas-panas.. badan rasa segar.

Kesan semasa:

kentut banyak kali.. especialy time nak rukuk waktu solat dan sujud.. uissshhh.. memang sengsara kepit tahan kentut.. wakakaka..

Nak tidur malam rasa gatal-gatal belakang lengan.. pegang, rasa macam kasar. Rupanya naik macam rashes setompok.

Tidur.. tapi tak berapa lena sangat, macam biasa bangun buat susu anak. Gatal kepala.

Hari ke3 soft detoks parasit

Pagi:

Macam biasa, bangun subuh dan minum air masak dengan 10 biji alfalfa.

Lepas masak nasi goreng dan roti canai frozen tu. Anak-anak makan dengan berselera. Abang cik biasanya kene kejar bila sesi makan. Tapi pagi ni dia ok..tak payah mama.nak.kejar.. agaknya dia tahu mama tengah berdetoks dan.ada rasa a bit stress sikit pagi ni. Sabar mira.. sabarrrrr…

(Untuk pengetahuan readers, rasa gatal, nak.marah, tertekan adalah symptom healing proses semasa berdetoks. Cacing tengah tak tentu arah).

Lunch:

Macam biasa.. rasa tak lapar sangat.. sebab asyik tonggak air kosong aje. Vitamin C pun kutelan sekali untuk membantu sistem pertahanan badan lebih kuat. Makan lunch pukul 4 iaitu nasi putih suam dan kari ayam serta ulam pegaga 5 helai.

Malam:

Makan nasi lemak.

Kesan semasa, kegatalan semakin terasa. Paha kanan dan peha kiri asyik digaru dengan berlapikkan kain (taknak parut okey).

Mata terasa macam melekat.. rasa macam gatal sangat nak sakit conjunctivitis, tapi tak.. belakang telinga start gatal.

Tengah malam sebelum tidur, makan supplement biasa untuk malam iaitu omegaGuard dan ostematrix.

Cerita Detoks Vs Makanan

Semalam kan… mira anak2 n incik asben pegi pasar malam dekat ngan umah. Memang dah lama sangat tak keluar sama2.. serombongan pegi pasar malam. So, anak2 dan mak anak2 tu excited sangat. Nampak kuih tu nak beli, nampak agam goreng gunting nak beli, nampak CAKOI panas aduss… incik asben plak bleh offer.. “nak ke?”.. hehe…seikhlasnya, tulusnya wajah dia mengoffer.. sebab dia kelalan (lupa) Mira tgh detox mode. Huuu.. nanges hatiku.

 

Tapi.. sebab tekad membulat.. Mira tepis lembut aje offer incik. Ehee.. baru dia teringat #detoksparasit ku..

 

So, nak #detoksparasit kena lah bebetul kan.. takkanlah sebab CAKOI terbatal #detoksparasit mira. Korang, cer cabar diri untuk detoks parasit.. in shaa Allah.. nanti banyak dapat manfaat darinya.. boleh hilangkan resdung, boleh hilang sakit kulit, gatal2 badan, boleh buang toksin tubuh, badan jadi ringan, cergas, tak mengantuk, boleh kurus, mula flawless, lagi..lagi..lagi.. banyak nak list.. sampai esok tak habes.
